It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

used the drive thru and i had to pull around to the front to wait for my food but it was like 2am so i can’t complain. also, the staff was super friendly even while they forgot my onion rings. they were super quick to run out some onion rings and politely apologize and the overall experience was easy peasy!

Whataburger has a pretty good app. I was offered a free patty melt, fries, and a drink, so twist my arm, I got it today after my workout at FitFX. Why not? A good lunch, clean atmosphere, and a cool escape from the heat. I wish they had wifi ’cause I’d stay longer and get some writing done.

I frequent Whataburger on a weekly basis. I stopped on my way to work for breakfast. I was served an old burnt patty with bacon that was pitch black and smelt rancid.

Great burger. Added green chilies and cheese. The banana pudding shake was delicious. Definitely join the rewards club. I get free food all the time. I’m glad they expanded and built more restaurants. It’s one of my regular stops.

I have to say, this is by far the cleanest Fast food restaurant I have been to. The staff seems to really like working there, and you see it. They are super kind and helpful. After I had already paid for my order they advised me that they couldn’t make any banana pudding shakes. The shakes are more expensive and they shouldn’t have charged my credit card if they couldn’t make the shake.

Our first trip to Whataburger rated about 2 stars. It was just after COVID, the service was slow, only the drive-thru was open, and the food was not very good. My wife and I decided to give them another try, and now we visit regularly. Good food, although I am not a fan of mustard being the only condiment on my burger. Easily rectified by ordering with ketchup and mayo.

I’m so happy there’s Finally a Whataburger near me! I ordered my favorite Hatch Green Chile Double with fries and it was super satisfying! The drive thru was slow, but I know to expect that at all Whataburgers. They are still in training mode here, so keep that in mind when you go. The man who took my order yesterday was polite & patient. Will be back!
