Recommend: Can’t go wrong with Classic Carol – the normal and good chicken salad you will expect. Fancy Nancy is my fav – if you like sweet fruit and some nuts in your salad. Mine came with sweet seedless grapes. Love it!

The cashier just stood there with this blank stare on her face. I order the Dixie chicken salad with the pecan apple salad as my side. Got home I ate just enough to finish off the crackers and immediately became sick. Nauseous, vomiting and a bad case of diarrhea for hours. The salad was old I threw it a way extremely disgusting. I know damn well they knew that lettuce and those apples were old. I’m so glad my kid didn’t eat anything from there. I will never eat there again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else!!

So disappointed this morning. The cashier came out from the back with a sloppy dirty t-shirt and just stared at me. Didn’t say hello, what would you like. Just stared. I went ahead and ordered because I had been looking forward to it all week. She never thanked me. Rude and sloppy!! Looking at my receipt her name is Dee. Y’all need to teach her manners. She sets the tone on a customer’s experience. Thank goodness this wasn’t my first time or I would never go back no matter how good the food is.

Really enjoy CSC but when you charge $1 for salad dressing I start to lose my interest in the overall service. Based on a $10 meal. Never ever have I encountered a charge for one serving dressing for a salad.

Chicken Salad Chick offers several varieties of chicken salad which incorporate some great ingredients like basil, bacon, ranch, or almonds, for example. It also provides pimento cheese, egg salad, soups, green salads and some traditional non-chicken plates. Diners may select their entrees served as scoops rather than as sandwiches. Food orders are taken at the counter and the dining room is small, but clean. Outdoor seating is available.

The friendly staff member offered me a sample of two different chicken salads. This was my first visit. I tried the chicken Kelli (made with cranberries) & the buffalo chicken salad. Both were delicious I ordered the buffalo. The scoop of chicken salad is served on a fresh lettuce leaf, comes with a drink, fresk dill pickle spear, crackers & an iced sugar cookie. Yum! I can’t wait to go back & try all the flavors.
