Ordered gluten free pizza listed on the menu, waited 40 minutes. Decided to check in on the order with the hostess and they didn’t think to tell us they don’t actually sell gluten free pizza and that only management can remove it from the menu. They didn’t even start working on the regular pizza my Completely ruined our plans for the zoo for the day as we had to spend another 45 minutes finding other food. All they offered was to refund us as well.

We ordered a gluten free pizza right when they opened. It said on the menu that it’s made to order and we will have to wait and that was okay. However, 40 minutes later and no sign of the pizza we went to check in and they said, we don’t have gluten free pizza we didn’t make any dough. So after 40 minutes nobody working saw our order and thought to say anything. Apparently they can’t even remove it as an option from the menu because it’s up to management. MANAGEMENT FIX THIS. Waisted over an hour total of our time here because of incompetence.

2 slices of pizza and 4 breadsticks was $20. I asked if i could get a cup for water and was told there’s “water stations all over the zoo”. pizza was rock hard. cheese on top was minuscule and rubbery. just a drizzle of sauce. like eating a brick! neither kid would eat it. $20 down the drain and off to hunt for a drinking fountain instead of letting us get water from the soda machine. also, garbage was overflowing on to the floor and employees just standing around. never again!

The pizza was not very good. It tasted like cardboard. My kids wouldn’t eat it, and they love pizza. I got the antipasto salad, and it was decent. Way better than the pizza.

Went to the Buddy’s Pizza at Detroit Zoo with the family. The food tasted great. It was really pricey. The staff could use some attitude improvement… But hey. Lol 696 and Woodward, what do you expect.
