I ordered a medium combo steak sub. I thought it tasted good and the staff was friendly. However, I was pretty disappointed with how small the sub was for paying $16. It was way too expensive for what they give you. I can get a Giant sub from Jersey Mike’s that is twice the size at the same price or a $10 footlong that is much bigger from subway. Not sure I will be going back to Firehouse.

They’re obviously accepting far more online/door dash orders than they can handle. I ordered in person and had to wait 40 minutes for a couple of sandwiches while the store was full of drivers trying to pick up orders. After 40 minutes of waiting my food was made incorrectly and I didn’t realize until I got home. They forgot the sauces for the sandwich and one was just bread and beef. Nothing else. This is the second time I’ve gone here and had a bad experience. I won’t be returning.

Ok this is firehouse subs second go around in Ann arbor. They were located at one point downtown 5 or six years ago. I ordered sandwhiches there several times. It was good. So now that they are back I decided to give them another try. Ordered the turkey on wheat and it was delicious. Bread was a little thick but overall the taste was good.

Always polite, food made with care. Just sit back and relax while you wait for your order. If you think you maybe want something “fast,” this is not the place unless you order ahead. Serving mostly hot food and subs made fresh, means each order takes a bit to cook. I haven’t found anything on the menu that I do not like yet.
