They have a tendency not to be open either during the times or days posted ♀️ This particularly day is Sunday 8/6/23. I knew this of them so I tried calling before driving from the North West side of town to the East side of town. However, no answer I said to myself I know the line is long often I’m just going to go on over. The picture is of the empty space the pit usually sits.

So disappointed. The potatoe salad taste like is has fermented. The brisket was hard to chew and the ribs were burnt and salty. I’m so hurt by this experience. A full slab is $32 with no sides. They were out of greens and mac n cheese. They are too expensive for my budget. I seldom do reviews but they need to know so that they can improve.

Ordered Ribs, Chicken, Mac, and baked beans. Sides were okay. The meat was cooked so perfectly would be 5/5 but not a fan of the sauce(it was thin) and the seasoning rub isn’t my personal fave as it is heavy on celery seed or celery salt, which I don’t like. 7.5-8/10

Been trying to check these guys out for a while, finally made it there today. Met up with Josh the owner. Super nice guy. Has a huge smoker on site. Been the owner for around 3 years. Decided to order some rib tips with half the order with spicy sauce and half with sweet sauce. Both were excellent, the spicy just a bit of heat to it. The sweet was actually my favorite, perfect taste. Also ordered some coleslaw which was excellent, nice fresh fixings, it had a nice blend of celery seeds with the greens, and a sweet and sort of sour sauce to it. Really tasty. On to the finale, Mac and cheese, super creamy with a great blend of cheese. It was so tasty. OMG!!! And how much did he pay to get it to snow while I was there?? LOL!! Get out and check this small business out.

My wife wanted this for Mother’s day. Unfortunately, the owner was not prepared for the weekend. Some guy blurts out “We’re not cooking for an hour, place your orders and come back in a hour”. What??? No Thanks!! We try to support local businesses when we can but this was not a good first impression. I won’t be back!! If you make good food, expect people to want your food #prepareforthemasses!!!! Smh
