This was my first experience at the Peddler Steak House. I loved it! It was the best service. My drink was delicious, and the steak..omg. seasoned perfectly, juicy and tender. I am in love. My uncle had the salad and he enjoyed every bit of it. We both had to stop ourselves from eating the steak to save some for later. Will be returning!

So the big debate is Angus Barn v The Peddler. I have been to Angus Barn quite a few times. This is my first time at the peddlers. I ordered the prime rib, which was delicious. But I must say the Prime Rib at Angus Barn is Better. But…… my Aunt ordered the Rib-Eye I had to try A piece lol . It was amazing. It had a delicious char coil flavor. I would suggest going to both Angus Barn and The Peddler. Both steak houses houses have a unique flavor.

If you have proper expectations the place is fine. It is not a top end steak that gets delivered to your table. It’s also not a top end price tag. So all is good. Look elsewhere for “fine dining” steak experience. Look here for a fun vibe and ok food.

Reservations for 8 or more only. It was very busy, 45 minute wait time. We were seated originally next to a very large group and excessively loud. So loud that we couldn’t hear each other at our table. We told our waitress and she was very apologetic and quickly found another table in a quieter area. Food was great and worth the trouble we had previously encountered!

The food and service were very good. My steak was undercooked which was disappointing, but it was on me for not saying anything. But everything else was great for everyone in our group. I particularly appreciate that the salad bar and side are included in the price, which makes it a more reasonably priced entree than most other steakhouses. The key lime pie presentation is different but excellent. Highly recommend.

Atmosphere is fun – dark with candle light, great for a romantic dinner. Plenty of parking. Salad bar was delicious – fresh & a small but nice selection. Waitress did a great job for our large party. I had the Rib Eye with Baked Potato (no veg as I had the salad bar). I had to take off one star as they were out of Prime Rib, which several folks had wanted. Def have the chocolate lava cake for dessert. It’s more than enough to share. I recommend & would go back.

The Peddler is a wonderful place for a delicious charcoal grilled steak. The salad bar is amazing. We got the shrimp trio appetizer and it was also delicious. We waited in the bar for about an hour. If you enjoy strong drinks, their bar is for you! I got an Old Fashioned and it was almost too strong for me to drink. The only negative is the lighting inside the restaurant. It is so dark that it takes about 20 mins for your eyes to adjust. I get that it adds to the ambiance of the restuarant but they could use a few more lights. I could not read the menu in the bar and had to pull out my phone light. Other than the lighting, there were no negatives! Wonderful place for a celebration or just a date night for a good steak!
