The Flying Pepper Cantina remains true to fresh products, and in-house preparation as a matter of course. Our work has dispelled myths about fresh and local being out of reach for most. While Ohio growers are impacted by seasonal change, whole foods are still obtainable for the preparation on which we insist. We have a professional fresh food procurement specialist, and a very selective culinary team that work to help us reach those goals year round.

Really fresh ingredients and great seasoning! I recommend the 1/2-size poblano dinner. I would have made the poblano the focus of the dish, instead of an accent. Glad the rice isn’t orange. The salad was actually a salad with homemade ranch dressing. The peach margarita was amazing.

Food is definitely a step above a traditional Mexican food place. Service is hit or miss. You either get an awesome server, or possibly a newer server without much experience, but please remember to be kind. Amount of food for the price is where the 3 stars came from. Flavor is 5 star, but portion size for the $$$ is how I rated.
