At our College Park, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Chicken is over cooked and dry, they substituted Mac n cheese with green beans, my son is allergic to green beans, it was his plate. The corn on the cob was delicious, my flounder was overly battered which made it harder than it should’ve been.

I regret to say that my experience with this establishment was extremely disappointing. I initially placed an online pickup order, but later realized that the location was much farther from my place. I immediately attempted to contact them to inquire about cancellation or the possibility of picking up at another store. To my dismay, my repeated calls, totaling almost 20 attempts, went unanswered over the following 2.5 hours.

My order was right and food fresh. What I did not like is that once I got to the window , I wanted to order shrimp. The cashier said I couldn’t add on to my order at the window because they cook to order. I was the only one at the window. I didn’t have the energy to deal with the girl so I let her have it. That was the first and the last time I’m going to that location.

Window employee was very rude and short at the drive up box. I was cut off and didn’t get my full order out so I asked once I got to the window and was told no you can’t order at the window it’s by order only in a very harsh and aggravated tone. I usually don’t have issues at this locations but on that day I did and was highly annoyed. If you have employees in a customer service position make sure they know how to treat their customers! I came by this particular captain D’s on a Thursday night with my wife, looking for a lay bite because we were out past dinner time. I am pleased to say that I am glad that We made this choice. Outstanding customer service, Organization, the Food was on point with Cleanliness. I am proud to say that I made a trip at the captain D’s off of old national. There are many people who do not take pride in customer service. Not here. I hope that this continues in the future because I will always come here before I go to another Captain D’s and I am less than two minutes from a Captain D’s in Fayetteville.
