Great food. Fresh sea food. Sushi was good very unique than tradicional . Ordered ceviche mixto. Oysters where a lil too big to my liking but fresh. My father had a mojarra and it was good. Also ordered “cucurachas” not roaches but fried shelled shrimp great taste. I’ll be back next time for sure.

We are vacationing and exploring here in California! We wanted to eat some mariscos and this place has good reviews so came to give it a try! Let me tell you I dont eat raw at all which is why I ordered a cooked roll! The king roll it was sweet and spicy, it was delicious!! My husband had a coctel de camaron which I tasted and it was good too! Along with a michelada! Our server was good and made sure our food was tasting great!

Definitely a busy place. I was intrigued by a Mexican place serving sushi and I wasn’t disappointed. The portion was great for the price, the fish was high quality, and the flavor was amazing. Our waitress was also the host and definitely the glue holding the experience together.

This was our first stop in LA and boy am I glad we came! Sushi was delicious and my daughter highly enjoyed the cheesy quesadillas! They are famous for their ceviches, so if you love fresh seafood and great sushi try this place out!

BE AWARE of automatic 18% “gratitude “ CHARGE! . Took my mother out to eat here 06/14/23 around 7:30pm. We didn’t have alcoholic drinks. I had mineral water, she had soda. She ordered 2 marlin tacos , I ordered a 40 piece trey of sushi, on Wednesday they have a “$38.99” special, it’s Wednesday. My bill came out to be $92.88. I didn’t want to argue with anyone. I HOPE no one has to go through this taking their mother out to eat. Sign in the restaurant so customers are AWARE would be lovely . In fact it’s unacceptable charging automatic gratitude of 18 percent. I’ve never heard of such thing . Sushi SUMO in Gardena folks . Well worth the drive .

This review is on their sushi, camarones a la diabla, camarones al mojo de ajo even though we got a couple more dishes these 3 stood out to me the most. First off, both shrimp plates were well seasoned and had a lot of flavor. The camarones al mojo de ajo had a good amount of garlic but it wasn’t overpowering and had the precise amount to give it a good taste. The spice ones had a small kick, not spicy to me but that’s good because you can taste the spices in the sauce and it’s not unbearable. Then the sushi! Oh my was the sushi surprisingly good. Honestly, one of the best sushi’s I’ve had. The sushi is fresh and the sushi masters have years of experience. They have unique rolls and traditional ones too. My favorite one is their fried roll with mango slice on top of it. I’m not a deep fried sushi fan but this one was splendid.
