Not the first time at this place. OYSTERS used to be amazing, not anymore. For $20 the dozen you expect to get a decent size oysters, but we were really disappointed. The quality of the chicken wings was the same but flavor was not the same anymore, service… well let’s just say that we had to be bringing our own cups to the bar inside in order to get some refills, limes for the oyster and even the tab. we could have walked out of the place and nobody would have noticed.

Staff, staff, staff came make all the difference. We were greeted and served with smiles and patience. Really made us feel at home and like regulars. The oyster bar is a great size and everything fried was perfectly done. We ordered a couple unique things and they rocked. We’ll be back.

This place is a little hidden it looks like a little hole in the wall of the highways but they have amazing oysters and a lot of options of beers. Their oysters are Louisiana gulf oysters and they are freshly opened right in from of you every order comes with horseradish sauce, cocktail sauce and a pack of saltines crackers. On the weekends they have live entertainment. They also got other finger food options like their fried chicken wings with option of ranch or blue cheese sauce . It’s a great place for seafood lovers they also offer crab legs, shrimps and much more.

We were really excited to try this place as it was highly recommended. Our experience with the food and service was lackluster. The oysters had so much grit and small pieces of shell in them. They didn’t appear to be cleaned at all. The shrimp po boy was nice as well as the wings. The server that seated us was friendly but our server for lunch was very short with us and unfriendly. Very disappointed with the experience

The fish dip reminded me of trips to the beach in a good way. It was not too smokey and not super mayo heavy. I also had fried shrimp that were coated in the lightest batter. The whole place has a very beachy vibe. It is the kind of place you want to go have a beer or two at and hangout with your friends while some classic/southern rock plays on the sound system. It was a little hard to find for a nonlocal like myself and I am sure the parking lot fills up fast.
