I was passing through and needed some lunch, and I recommend the Al Pastor tacos, beans and rice were very good, chips and salsa also very good, good spot for lunch, prices are reasonable.

People of Clyde and surrounding areas: EAT HERE!!! Wonderfully delicious authentic Mexican cuisine at extremely reasonable prices! Easily beats out others from neighboring towns. Front of house is attentive and delightful with an equally amazing kitchen staff! We WILL be returning again and again. El Canal rocks!!!!

This place is so delicious! The food is clearly fresh prepared and uses fresh vegetables and ingredients. The prices are more than fair especially given the portions (I thought the burrito was expensive but when it arrived it was HUGE). I cannot recommend the potato taco enough, if you like the Taco Bell potato taco you will die for this one it’s so yummy. I also recommend the cheese dip and guac to start and if you like spicy get the spicy salsa, it’s more like a fresh hot sauce and it’s so good. Everything we got (a party of 5) was so delicious. The worst part of the experience was choosing what to get because the menu was so big and yummy sounding.

Our first time here. Service was fast and we could tell they sincerely wanted (the four of) us to have a pleasant dining experience. I ordered the California Burrito and would definitely order it again. Everything was very fresh. Prices quite reasonable. I recommend this restaurant. We will be returning soon.

i grew up in clyde but moved out of state after high school. i came back with my husband to visit my parents and they took us here for dinner. it tasted fantastic and the service was super fast!! to top it off, they gave us a dessert for free. overall, i would totally recommend. great food, fast service, and friendly staff! it’s nice to have something in town to eat. 🙂

The food, atmosphere, and service were about average. Our problem was with the bill. My wife noticed that the prices we were charged were higher than what was on the menu. When we asked the waitress about it, she said they had raised the prices and she was supposed to tell us but forgot. There was also a 3% charge for using a credit card which we weren’t informed of in advance.

Went here with my fiancé for dinner and I ordered the Birria Tacos ($13 on the menu) and they tasted how a wet dog would smell. The menu had priced the Mexican coca colas at $3.50 and then when we got the bill they were $5.00 a piece and my meal was $17 (it went up $4, when the menu stated other wise). I asked the lady about the prices and they said “ohh well our boss raised the prices and yeahh, sorry”. Then as we were leaving I got in our truck and threw up a lot because the food that I barely ate gave me the worst stomach ache immediately. I do not recommend this place. It was actually awful. I’ve never had such bad food in my entire life.

Seriously 4 cheese dips, 2 rice and beans and I only get one bag of chips. Wouldn’t you think each cheese dip would come with a bag of chips each? Nope want to charge me 2.50 per bag. Ridiculous will not be going there ever again. Newark is well worth the drive.
