By far one of the best burgers and fries in the Sacramento area. They use freshly made Angus beef patties for every burger and the fries alone are worth a trip. Don’t expect quick service at either the drive thru or counter. They only cook to order so be prepared to wait a few minutes. Good food is well worth it.

Pleasant experience. Pulled through the drive-thru and was helped efficiently and kindly. The Coffee Shake was pretty good, and the Avocado BLT was alright, though didn’t really have much bacon. The Fried Mushrooms were unique, I liked them but they were pretty greasy and hurt my stomach.

Awesome family operated operation. One of my favorite go to spots in town for the deluxe Burgers of course. I also have been indulgent of the BLT+avocado as well. I generally skip the side dishes here and get a shake which totally fills you up. They also have one of my childhood favorites….SlushPuppies. I always order on the phone or from the walk up window their drivethru line is almost always 4 cars long.

VDI has been here for a while and the food has always been good but, over the past 3-4 years I’ve been even more impressed from the dine in portion of the restaurant where you can sit inside and enjoy your meal to the quality of food.
