I have to travel out of Dutchess County just to get some decent food over. Love this place as I have been coming here since it opened. Great food for after hiking in the mountains or walking around the village. The place is decorated nicely, and bathrooms could use more cleaning, tho. I always get the $15 bowl and samosa. Delicious.

Lovely place in New Paltz. We found this restaurant by accident when searching for vegetarian place. I am glad we visited here. There is no parking available, only option is metered street side parking.

Honestly this was one of my favorite vegan food I’ve had in New York. Large portions, big selection of freshly made vegetable heavy dishes. All options are plant based except the paneer which is real cheese *_*.

What a wonderful restaurant! The bowls (especially Prema bowl) were so flavorful and the portion sizes were great. We also really enjoyed the dosa which was perfectly crispy and at the same time soft. Our server recommended the Krishna matcha tea which was simply a delight. Can not recommend this restaurant enough for vegan/vegetarian food. Must try!

I came across this little gem first day of the year, during short visit to New Paltz. They offer lovely and delicious take out and dine in options plus locally brewed kombucha.

Amazing! We had five people and every single person just loved it. For one of our new guests, the food was delicious and she really liked her smashed Samosa bowl. Another new guest said that the dessert was amazing, liking the mix of sugar and the syrup to dip. Highly recommend!

Delicious Indian food (this is coming from an Indian who grew up in India and is *rarely* delighted by food at Indian restaurants in the US) with tons of vegan options. Delightful people who own and run this place, the decor and atmosphere are very welcoming and cheerful. Highly recommend the kofta and samosa. Get a bowl so you can try a variety of grains, veggies, dals, etc. Food is fresh and feels wholesome inside the body. The make-your-own bowl option makes this a great place for all. Also love the use of compostable bowls and cutlery. Definitely visit if you are in New Paltz.

Quality of food is good but they have hundreds of restrictions on what you can have in a bowl for which they charge $16. Not much flexibility in mixing/matching depending on customer need / choice. E.g. you can choose a protein but not the dahl! If you are a vegetarian it’s a good bet in the neighborhood but you need to give up on flexibility and choice!
