When I lived in Ohio, I visited this location a number of times. Since then, not much has changed. The interior and service remained unchanged. Our server that evening was excellent. She was energetic and engaging. The Ninja Turtle Drinks were fantastic. I recommend giving them a shot. This time, we did not sit at the grill, which is okay if you have previously enjoyed that experience. The sushi took a little longer to arrive than the entrees we had ordered but everything was good.

My family and I from Pgh. PA was in Sandusky visiting Great Wolf Lodge. We asked for recommendations at Great Wolf and they were on the list. So we went for dinne. (4 adults and 4 kids) I am GF and the people I was with were not. So finding a place we all can eat with kids isnt easy. We called ahead and they said they offered GF soy sauce (not many places do where I live. When I arrived I doubled checked. When the chef came out to cook he cooked all mine separate from anything that had regular soy sauce with it and cleaned the grill before cooking mine with GF soy sauce. I haven’t had hibachi since going GF 8 years ago due to not trusting the process. Everything was wonderful. Soy sauce was GF, as well as their Yum Yum sauce. I did not eat the salad with ginger dressing as they couldn’t tell me all the ingredients. I truly appreciated the care the chef took to keep mine seperate and safe. Besides that, he was wonderful while cooking and entertaining the kids. They had the best time and we were all laughing and clapping! We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

This is the best hibachi place in the area. The chefs are all great, food is fresh and delicious, good sushi, and good cocktail menu. We went on a Saturday and even though it was very busy the service was great. We highly recommend Samurai!

Colleen is an AMAZING server. We had such a good experience. I loved the sushi. Got two rolls, but my first one I ate so quick I forgot to take a photo. Highly recommend the Dynamite roll. One of the best rolls I’ve ever had. My partner had the steak filet with rice, veggies, and three shrimp. My other roll I customized and it only cost me about $6 extra to get what I wanted. I spent around $8p here, but it was worth it. Amazing service. Great atmosphere. Fantastic server as well as kind sushi chef. I would love to come back to this place if I’m ever back in town. Highly recommend if you love sushi and you’re traveling through.

I’m not sure that I would come back, if I did, it would probably be because of our chef. Our waitress wasn’t all that great. We were constantly looking for her and trying to get her attention. We always found her in the back eating and drinking instead of being of service to us. Our chef was AMAZING. My son absolutely adored him. He brought out the best of our evening. Though I do have to say, A1 Japanese fried rice is SO much better.

Very clean & spacious. It has a Koi pond, with turtles, which fascinated my boys. Food was delicious. Sushi was especially fresh. Our chef, Madi, was personable and funny. He even gave us some advice, as our son is thinking of becoming a chef. We had a great night, with great food!

Stopped in here for dinner and it was good. Sushi appetizers were excellent and the hibachi meal was good. They were down a cook, so things were slow, but the server was nice and kept us in drinks and the appetizers helped keep us busy. Once they started cooking, it went well and had fun.
