Our first time and it was awesome. Service was attentive, food was outstanding and everything came out fast. The portion size is big! My chicken and waffles was so good and the side of mashed potatoes were delicious! My husband enjoyed his crab cake with dirty rice. We also had Cajun wings that were really great. I would order everything again and looking forward to what I’m going to order next. When it’s crowded it can get a little loud, but the food and service is worth it!!

*Feb ‘23 update: quality of food has gone down. Nola fries have so much cheese and not as much crab. went and got our usual but it was very bland and not flavorful. We never send food back but let our server know. They made it again and it wasn’t any better. A manager came over and offered us salt and that was it. Will not be back unfortunately for awhile…

The Social Downingtown has a beautiful interior. The garden vegetable pasta was absolutely delicious and creative. The pistachio fried chicken was cooked to perfection and I highly recommend it! We also ordered blackened Scottish salmon which was nicely seared and flavorful. The Vermont burger had a great cook on it and the fries were fried amazingly. I can not wait to return. The service was impeccable. I love a restaurant that has unique dishes.

Place looks great! Friend and I loved the food and cocktails. Chicken and waffles and the meatloaf were amazing! When we were leaving my friend said she wished she wasn’t so full so she could be hungry again to eat more!

Searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. Very nice interior and staff are friendly. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. We really enjoyed our dinner, the Jambalaya, Gumbo, and Pistachio Fried Chicken, the best! Always a great spot to get great food!

Well it’s nice to eat inside again and The Social didn’t disappoint. The decor is contemporary and with extra covid-19 precautions, the place looked so clean and airy. We sat near the bar and enjoyed the Sunday football game with our meal. We ordered Gumbo, chicken wings with goat cheese wrapped in bacon which was very good. For entree, we had jambalaya, shrimp and grits, and shrimp/chicken Po’boy. All the dishes were very good in decent portion size. The wait staffs were friendly and attentive. Overall, this place is as good as a Southern Cajun eatery that you can find this far up north.

We may have found our new favorite restaurant. We tried the goat cheese stuffed wings, Cajun pierogies, Andouille meatloaf, and a pasta jambalaya (one of their specials). Everything looked and tasted incredible and their attention to detail was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!

Walked in to find the restaurant mostly empty so we were concerned that it might not be good, but it turned out to be really delicious. The ingredients were fresh, the seasoning was amazing but as weird as it sounds the portions are too big. I noticed that everyone in the the restaurant needed togo boxes even the men in our party who have large appetites. Based on the quality and large portion sizes, idk that this place will be able to stay in business, which would be a shame because it was really good!
