The food was okay, but the wait time is really long 30-50 minutes. Sandwiches/tortas al pastor was 90% vegetables with few pieces of meat. The bread was left on the stove too long and the sandwich was hard to eat. The servers were friendly but if you’re really hungry, it’s better to go somewhere that’s faster.

Delicious fresh food, nice atmosphere, but kind of closed in mostly due to the lack of space. Location is horrible and ugly but restaurant itself is nice. Staff is not overly friendly or welcoming just sit, order, eat, bye.

I stopped in to grab a couple of tamales for lunch. They only had Red (Pork) left so I took those to go. When I asked for a side of mole sauce I was told that I couldn’t have it, even though the cook told her it was fine, she said “NO”…. Whatever, anyway, when I got home I unwrapped the Red “Pork” tamale and noticed it was a banana leaf instead of corn husk. But what really made me want to vomit was the fact that the “pork” on the inside was in fact an ENTIRE CHICKEN FOOT and what looked like random ORGANS!!!! There was no pork at all!! I wish they would have told me that’s how they prepared their “tamales” I wouldn’t have wasted my time or money going there, I would have gone to Red Bank to get my tamales

Authentic Mexican cuisine with very good, no rush, “chill”service. Everything I have experienced on the menu does not disappoint. Consistent, good, value!

The Molcajete is what I order. It’s a huge meal, which is why I order it. I have leftovers for the next day or two. Normally the server’s speak a little English, but not always. It’s a BYOB like most Mexican restaurants. Plenty of seating. Food is made to order, so it’s always hot and fresh. They also have a small Mexican grocery store attached to the restaurant as well as next door.

Tucked away on the main strip is a welcoming clean and auténtico mexican restaurant with excellent guac, salsa verde and fresh juices. The perfect place for a mid afternoon snack or meal.

Authentic Mexican. Sugiero la carne asada. Many other dishes to choose from. The atmosphere is just like you are in Mexico and they have a Latin jukebox for música!! Popular with the after work crowd and they offer pickup or Doordash too!
