The outside looks a little scary-and the entrance is in the back. So you may be tempted to not go in. But, the inside is inviting and the food is delicious! Our server was great, she was so friendly and helpful. We ordered 2 steaks, calamari, and soup. The steaks were cooked perfectly, and the steak sauce flight we got was also delicious. Would recommend to friends for sure.

Everything was fabulous–the atmosphere, the service, and especially the food! I went with a party of 7, and had the opportunity to sample several different dishes. Every single one was unique and divine! The sauces and seasonings made all the difference. I especially loved the scallops, the popover “dinner rolls,” the southern salad, and coconut cake; not to mention, my steak, which was so tender and prepared to perfection. The sides that i tasted were also excellent; only the asparagus was kind of ordinary, still good but not as unique in flavor as the other dishes. Overall, G.O.L. provided an exquisite dining experience!

We ate here the first weekend they were open. The atmosphere is very cozy and the food was pretty good. I got the impression they were still working out some kinks, which is to be expected for a new restaurant. The sweet potatoes au gratin were very good, and the filets were cooked perfectly. The sauce flight had some nice choices to pair with a steak. All around it was a good experience, and we’re likely to come back again.

Beautiful atmosphere! Steaks are very pricey, but you will not find one cookec to perfection like this anywhere else. They are new, so be patient .Waitress was so friendly, hostess was wonderful .They truly care about your opinion. They are environmentaly friendly !Paper straws and reusable plastic to go boxes. We will be back!

At first we were a little hesitant when we walked in, as not many people were there. However we ended up enjoying an EXCELLENT meal from start to finish. We had the cheese platter and scallop shooters. The shooters have a hint of spice but finished nicely with lime. The steaks were all cooked perfectly and amongst, if not the best in the Lehigh Valley. In addition the lobster tail was also excellent and certainly the best and largest around! Finally the desserts were awesome, but the two best were the chocolate cake and smores brownie. Only negative is the place doesn’t have a bar, but feel free to bring your own or enjoy a house complimentary!!!!

Absolutely a 5 star experience from every aspect!!! The atmosphere is elegant and enchanting with wonderful music. I had the scallops in mushroom sauce. They were the most delicious scallops I have ever eaten and the presentation superb! I tried a new dish called Kalushka as my side. We are still talking about it today and trying to Google recipes!

We were excited to try a new restaurant, so we made a reservation. When we arrived there were 3 other parties dining. First we were served popovers, which were good but cold. Then we got a cheese plate, which was good. Then we got our salad and asked for more water as our glasses had been empty for some time. The waitress said she would bring some but did. Meanwhile, customers from another table sat down at a piano to play and sing like we were at an open mic night. The staff seemed to encourage it. Two parties then left, so it was just us and one other couple. The waitress went to the other table to ask about desserts, then went to the back to grind coffee and deliver their desserts. In both trips she avoided eye contact with us, leaving empty salad plates and empty water glasses on our table. By this point, it had been more than an hour since we arrived and more than 20 minutes since she served our salads and we asked for more water. Not once did she check on us or acknowledge us that whole time. When she finally came back, it was with our entrees and still no water. My mushroom enchiladas were served in a glass meatloaf dish. At this point we said to take the food back because we were unhappy with the wait and poor service. The manager then came out with our sides and we repeated our concern. He asked if she had brought our check and we said no. He apologized, but never offered to take anything off our bill. Instead, they packed all the food up and charged us full price for a dinner that we will never eat. I should have refused to pay, but instead gave the gift card I had brought to pay. After several minutes of waiting, they told me the gift card a ould not go through and I had to use another card. In the end, I paid way too much money that I never intended to spend on anything other than a gift card for a long time sitting and being ignored and for a meal I will never eat. I would never go back and I would caution anyone else to avoid this restaurant. Poor service, poorly managed kitchen, and an attempt to be upscale with gaudy decorations and a karaoke bar atmosphere. You would be better off going somewhere else.

Great service and fabulous food, from the homemade popovers that they serve you when you place your order all the way through the entrees. The swordfish steak was the best I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes were REAL!! The quality was so worth the price!!!!
