This place is amazing! They have a wide variety of sandwiches, soup, and salads. I recommend the Wisconsin cheese and broccoli cheddar soup mix. The root beer is amazing and has a focused flavor. It has a wide room for seating, and tables of 2 and tables of 4. Very friendly staff! I will come here again!

I finally made it back to The Feed Store this week. Oh, my!!! I was NOT disappointed. The chicken salad was amazing and the Wisconsin cheese soup was devine. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere inviting. I read my book while enjoying my lunch. Perfection!

Manager yells at his employees in front of everyone in the store, a lot of customers were appalled by his behavior so much so that one man called him out to treat her better. He is also very condescending to the customers, he should not be working in customer service or be in charge of ANYONE.

satisfying; it’s impossible for the croissant sandwich (not to be confused with what Burger King serves) to put you in a dour mood. If I lived closer, I’d make this my go-to lunch staple.

Who knew that a twenty foot wide store front across from the Old State Capital and within walking distance from all important state offices, would have the depth to support a lunch time menu. But the line along the west wall and few, few empty wooden chairs tell the story. There still is a wait for so plan accordingly and when delivered to the table, you know why this is the cross road of tourist, visitor and government staff.

Salad was fresh, but ho-hum. It took over-long to get our food. The building is interesting, though.

We stopped in for lunch and had a variety of sandwiches and soup. All of the food was excellent for all 7 of us. The service was outstanding. They were great with organizing what some little kids wanted and making sure that everything was correct. Highly recommend
