The food was as good as the reviews have stated. This is a special family owned bakery. I had a nice conversation with the owner while waiting for the kabob to cook. I love a place where the food is outstanding and where you are treated as a friend.

The welcoming hospitality was great. It is such a wonderful first time experience. We got Lamb Tikka with rice and tabbouleh/ Lamb beef shwarma with hummus and rice. Accompanied with garlic and hot sauces. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our order took about 15 minutes, worth the wait! I’m excited to go back for the falafel sandwich. The deserts were tasty and not too sweet.

I had a beef and lamb Shawarma as well as a chicken Shawarma this time. I also tried their falafel. Man that was good. But the food here is always delicious. I come to Richmond for work often. This is the first place I eat dinner. The owners are very friendly and welcoming as well. If you are in Richmond looking for middle eastern food. Swing by here you will not be disappointed. Treat yourself to some baklava for desert as well. It’s homemade and scrumptious.

Love this place. My girlfriend and I drove by and saw this place open we decided to give it a shot. First thing is it smells wonderful in this little storefront, that alone made me want to order something. The menu is straight forward and easy to read, the staff is extremely helpful and they have plenty of international snacks and drinks to go along with your food. We ordered the beef and lamb platter and a beef and lamb sandwich . Both were so good and the portions were huge for the price. If you go and you like falafel they are a MUST, you won’t regret it. If you’re unsure stop by and give it a try it’s well worth it

Iraqi/Mediterranean restaurant, owner says they’ve been open about 6 months. Very friendly service, delicious fresh baked samoon (perfect mix of chewy and pillowy) falafel was formed and fried to order. Fresh, chilled veggies to go on as toppings. Extremely tasty falafel sandwich. I can’t wait to return and give the shawarma a try. Support local businesses allowing us to expand our palate here in Richmond!

I absolutely love this place. Everything I have tried has been delicious. The pita is always fresh, soft, and pillowy, often still warm from the oven. The falafel is really the best in Richmond as far as I’m concerned and I have tried every option I come across. The shawarma is likewise as good. The owners put care into the food and it shows. I’ve made myself hungry now and am going to get some for dinner!

It is a small place in an older strip mall but we were not disappointed. The food is fresh and flavorful, almost as good as eating a home-cooked meal. The falafel was crispy and probably set my new benchmark for any future falafel consumption. The chicken shawarma was generously portioned. The hummus was better than most I have had – the drizzle of olive oil and the olives further elevates it. We bought bread and it was soft and pillowy – we ate it without needing to toast it. The jajeek was another good side dish. If I had to nitpick, I would say the sauces were unremarkable but thankfully superfluous to the delicious meal. Though we did feel a bit out of place, I don’t think that will keep us away from revisiting.

WOW what a find!! I get so happy when I eat good quality flavorful food!! I had seen Nineveh a few times while on my pilgrimage through Goodwill before I finally took the plunge. I was intrigued especially since I had never eaten Iraqi food before.
