Awesome place – I knew it was going to be good just looking at the menu. I’ve not seen a place that has such a well-rounded solid menu packed with delicious options. We got the filet red wine Demi and skirt steak with chimichurri both with Parmesan smashed potatoes. We will definitely be back here next time we are in town

We read the reviews before coming here. I always read the lowest just to see what people complain about. As you could imagine they were ridiculous. Complaining about TV’s being upstairs? Stupid. They didn’t make you sit up there. You could’ve sat outside or downstairs. Complaining about not having the type of cheese you like? Get over yourself. Overall it’s a super nice place. Pricing may seem a tad hefty but you do get a lot of food. I had the chicken & waffles. The chicken was excellent while the waffle left a bit to be desired. That’s really the only reason for my 4 stars on the food. Service was great. Atmosphere is very nice. My gf enjoyed her steak salad which had a huge amount of meat. We’d come back for sure.

If you have ever had meatloaf before…forget about your past experience. This is it, with homemade mashed potatoes that will have you tapping your feet and wiggling your toes. Lailani is the frosting on the cake with her true Hawaiian personality. We will come back at least once a month (hour and half drive) for the treat) OH, the manager is a jewel. Don’t forget about the best drinks in Ellijay❣️❣️

Arrived in Ellijay a little too early on a Sunday, but luckily, the Butcher and Bottle opened at 11:00 for Sunday brunch. My BF and I both ordered egg white omelettes with smoked salmon. The mushrooms were either shiitake or porcini, but not your run of the mill mushrooms, delicious! Wonderful flavor! Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed. The only thing that I thought was lacking was an option for either feta or goat cheese on their omelettes…. just cheddar was disappointing. I would still recommend this place next time you’re in Ellijay!

After a day at a vineyard nearby, we chose this restaurant to eat some good food for mothers day. Great Steaks. Great seafood and amazing Risotto. One thing a lot of places miss is good service and this place had a top notch waitress who served us. She was soo nice. Nice little place in downtown Ellijay. I had salmon and switched the grit cake for Risotto. Excellent. People had the skirt steak and didnt leave anything and the meatloaf was gourmet. Def a place to go to if youre in the area and want a local place that isnt longhorn or a chain. Would totally be back if in area. Relaxes quiet Spot as well.

So we loved this place before we ever stepped foot inside as it proudly states it is a family and faith run business. I mean what’s not to love about that? But man oh man the food!! We had the oysters, 2 kinds of steak, multiple kids meals and it was just all the die for. High quality ingredients prepared expertly. We loved the atmosphere- loved the original artwork for sale on the walls- the live music- the staff was friendly- the place was spotless. It is just everything that’s good about a local spot that takes the culinary caliber of the entire town up a few notches!!! Family and kid friendly for sure. Visit here!! Support them. You will not be disappointed.

We have enjoyed this restaurant over the years. It has had a few name changes and owners. But, it’s always gotten better. Highly recommend the brunch menu. Easy to go online and make reservations.
