I stopped at the Burger King on Airline Drive just on I-20. It was approximately 10:00 PM. There was no one else in the drive thru so I ordered for my teenager and myself. The order taker answered Immediately. Since this was my first visit in several weeks I needed more time. I ordered the #1 Whopper value meal medium size. Next, I ordered a plain cheeseburger, an apple juice, and some chicken nuggets for my son. We paid at the second window and received our drinks. We had to pull forward and wait at the front door for our food to be brought out. The wait was just a few minutes. We then parked at the nearby Pierre Bossier Mall parking lot to consume our food. My fountain coke was great. My burger and toppings were fresh and tasty. The fries were hot and crispy. My son said his cheeseburger was fine, but the chicken nuggets were different. Burger King had changed their nuggets. These were softer, but good. We both preferred the other brand which had a thicker breaded crust and thicker meat. Even with the change our food was great. As usual prices had increased recently.

They skimp on the fries, and usually there’s pickles even when I say no pickles. They don’t make your pickup order until you actually arrive, so the only perk of ordering online is the rewards points. Otherwise, the service is good and the food never takes too long.
