Tried this place after Kanpai shutdown and it was very surprising. We were greeted by wonderful staff and the atmosphere felt like a Japanese party. This place was outstanding. All of our food was not only fresh but great taste and the presentation was exceptional. The service is on point and very friendly and attentive. The garlic edamame was the best we have ever had the sashimi and the rolls are great. We also enjoyed the teriyaki chicken and beef. Very friendly service I was greeted as I walked in. I ordered a bento box and everything in it was great quality and generous portions. I really liked how my bento came with pickled cucumbers which I rarely see. You know you’ve found a good sushi restaurant when the miso soup is good. The waiters were personable and overall a pleasant experience.

I went for my birthday dinner with my dear friends and had a bad experience. My friend ordered a avocado roll and they didn’t have it so they didn’t bother telling her. She sat there and watched us eat. So after we all notice her sitting there with no food we asked and they said that they were out. So she then ordered another non meat roll and they never brought that either. The only thing she ate the entire dinner was edaname. They didn’t bother telling her they were out of the second roll either. I am sorry but how could I enjoy my birthday meal with my friends that drove almost 2 hours to take me watching my friend not get her food. SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE. The food we did get was good but never again will I put a friend thru that.
