I would give it a 5 star on the bread it was off the chart. The meat a 4 star it was what i expected. The sandwich was fresh but their special sauce was really bland. The place had a nice layout and was clean. Our server must have been new. If they add a little more flavor to their sauce, a more selective menu and better seats it would be a solid 4 star maybe a 5. Just go once and try their bread and you’ll love it.

Very disappointed with Olga’s takeout. Usually dine in is fine but my husband waited for his order for 20 minutes when it had been sitting there the whole time and they didn’t even know it. The order was wrong so they had to correct it. And then when i got the food the snackers weren’t even edible because they were overcooked to a crisp and dredged in seasoning that was way too salty. And my Olga was squished and not even good. Not a happy customer for $20 worth of food

We often dine at the Olga’s in Alton and always will request Kaiden as our server ! He is the perfect server, prompt, friendly and attentive. Our food order is always correct and he will check on us frequently to ensure we have a great dining experience . They are fortunate to have such a fine employee . I would highly suggest dining at this restaurant as the food is delicious !

Our food was good, our service was good, but unfortunately we are very irritated by the menu changes. Olga’s has been a family staple restaurant since I was a little kid, and for some reason they’ve removed the cheese balls which we ordered every single visit because they were so delicious, and they also removed Greek fries that my husband loved.

Takeout here is awful. The last three times my family has ordered takeout something was wrong. First time not only did they forget to give us items we paid for but the bread wasn’t cooked thoroughly and was doughy. The second time once again items missing and everything was so smothered in warm mayonnaise we just threw them out. Now, we give it one last try today (ordered it without mayonnaise) we get all the way home only to find once again they left out a $15.99 item. Never have we been compensated for the fuel of having to drive back and forth nor the hassle. The employees simply do not care.
