The first time I came here, I placed an online order. I show up to them closing 15 minutes early, mind you I did do an online order that was accepted. They claimed they never got my order and of course I didn’t get any food since they closed early. I decide to try them a 2nd time. I ordered asada fries and the meat was pretty dry, fries drenched in nacho cheese sauce with chunks of lettuce made for a burger. Not very satisfying. I’m from AZ so I expected better asada fries.

My go to Mexican spot in this area. Genuine mexican food! LOVE IT! If I’m having a bad day, this is where I go for lunch, makes me feel better :). Doesn’t matter what you get, it’s all delicious. Today I got their “Big Burrito” and WTH, look at the size of the burrito compared to my trucks steering wheel! Definitely couldn’t finish it all lol, It’s not just big but sooooo good. Their salsas are also super good, nice and thick with plenty of heat.

This place was recommended by my husband’s coworker. Don’t let the outside or location detour you from trying it. We tried their Carne Asada tacos, birria tacos and Carne asada burritos. Everything was so amazing; the meat was perfectly flavored and soft corn tortillas. They also have friendly service. I cant wait to go back and try other foods. Sorry I forgot to take pictures of tacos and the picture of the burrito doesn’t do much justice.

There was a hair in my friend’s torta. My tacos were very tiny and had more onions and cilantro than meat. They had about a teaspoon of beef tongue in them. The workers referred to me as the old lady, and to my friend as the young man (in Spanish). They also flirted heavily with my friend. The restroom is inside of the adjoining gas station, but is kept locked. You have to ask for a key or use a sink behind the counter of the taqueria, which seems gross. We each got ONE napkin. They charge restaurant prices, but we ordered at the counter. It was definitely not worth the money spent.

The food is a disgrace to the Spanish community. Consome for the birria tacos tastes like boiled hot dog water. Meat: UNSEASONED and DRY. I’ve visited the establishment 3 times to make sure I’m not wrong about what I’m thinking. Ownership needs to revamp how they’re preparing this food.
