A authentic Italian Restaurant, Leone’s restaurant won’t disappoint you! They have one of the best fried calamari, very good pizza, “hand made pizza”, they also have so many options on Pastas. One of my favorite is the scampi linguine, they even have gluten free pasta!! Don’t like pasta or pizza? No problem, their menu covers everything from steak to chicken. A very good selection of beer and wine and the staff makes you feel welcome. Leone’s is definitely a good place to go for a special occasion and it has a great atmosphere.

I ordered puttensca that said spicy on the menu. I asked to have it made without the spice and the waitress said no problem. When I goi it It was spicy so told the waitress and she returned it to the kitchen and she was very pleasant and accommodating. she returned it to the kitchen and the chef remade the entire dish with no spice. The waitress was very accommodating and pleasant and I really appreciated the chef remaking the entire dish over for me with no spice. It was delicious and I was happy. I want to thank the waitress for being so helpful and pleasant and I especially want to thank the chef. I think they both went above and beyond. I will definitely return.

We recently had the immense pleasure of dining at Leones, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all of our expectations. We live far from Springfield, and it was a special event that we needed for 15 of us. We ran late as the event was delayed but they still allowed us to dine at the restaurant. Picking a restaurant that you have never been to was a risk for us. They did not disappoint us.

Leone’s has the best food! The 4 rating is due to the server (Danielle)at our last visit was very disturbed that we requested, in advance, separate checks (3 checks for a party of seven). Most places have a system for this so the server isn’t so rude about it. And, on top of it she charged a tip without notifying us so when we tipped her- she ended up with a 50% tip which certainly wasn’t our intention.

The smell of fresh garlic cooking on the stove, the sound of music and laughter rushing over your ears, the sight of smiling faces greeting you at the door… No, it’s not your Italian grandmother’s home…it’s Leone’s! They just don’t make them like this anymore. Fresh homemade Italian meals from their family to yours. The food is always delicious and the wait staff are incredible. My favorite local spot for authentic Italian food, like Ma used to make!
