Terrible experience today. The burger was the only thing that was good. Fries were cold and half of us were finished before the others even got their food. We were told the new grand opening was Friday – we were there on Wednesday. Who knew there was a new grand opening. 3 adults and 2 kids for dinner and the bill was $89. After I gave feedback they said I was getting the friends & family discount! Ordered a grilled cheese but they had no bread, no house salad and no grilled chicken. The waitress did the best she could but obviously overwhelmed. Won’t be going back to the Cooper Penny anytime soon.

Drove an hour 1/2 to get your pizza. Such a disappointment. We’ve had it before and it was the best! How do you not offer ham as a topping anymore? Asked and paid for double pepperoni! What a joke! Won’t be back anytime soon! We try to support you but very disappointed on the quality/taste of your pizza!!! Was the best thing going for you!!

Very disappointed with the service. I took a few juggalo family to lunch here and we were profiled to the point we hated this place. We watched countless people come and go getting food and drinks… to the point of getting drunk. We sat there for an hour before getting ANY type of service. I’m sorry we didn’t pull up in a boat like everyone else, BUT I did pull in with a pocket full of money and I’m generous AF! Our “server” didn’t want any of it here. We weren’t rowdy, we were quite and kept to ourselves.

I really enjoy visiting Copper Penny..But on the last visit, which was on annual GDO (girls day out on the lake), the staff did not seem very organized. I ordered the bone-in wings; they tasted good but were a little overdone.

We used to go to “The Penny” a lot. It changed ownership several times since then. We tried it again tonight and we had the best pizza in the lake area; and, in my opinion, the best pizza I’ve ever eaten.
