Boy! Times have changed SteaknShake! A wait staff employee greeted us at the door and directed us to one of 3 kiosks to order for carry out or dine in. We were dining in, so after placing and paying for our order, we sat in a booth to await our order. Yes, we did add 15% tip for table service. We did not tip our usual 20% since we placed our own order and we will be getting our own refills on drinks.

I’ve never been to Steak and Shake before. The food was alright actually the steak burgers were pretty good just the fries were kind of weird. They were like shoestring fries that were barely warm. My son liked the milkshake a lot.

I love steak n shake, been my favorite place to eat since childhood. I really miss the waiters and the look of the inside. The inside of steak n shake had this old-school look and feel and the removals took the feeling away. The food is still as great!

Their food is made fresh to order EVERYTIME. No sitting under the heat lamp for hours in anticipation of someone ordering. There was a young man running the drive thru and he was so respectful and efficient. I’ve never waited more than a few seconds at the drive thru for my order.

I don’t know if it’s normal but I asked for a Sprite and got served pure seltzer. These guys have to keep up with their soda machines. I drove 5 miles and had to turn back for a real Sprite. They figured it out and redid my drink. She was nice about it
