A Dominican experience with spices and food most Americans don’t experience. Moderately expensive but more food than two meals will require. Empenada’s are fantastic. Everything is currently being made fresh so service takes a little while but it is well worth the wait. A great experience for long term victims of the corporate restaurants. Facility is small and bathrooms are clean but a bit cramped, it’s a small suite. A comfortable atmosphere all around with unique decorations and painting. Definitely a must visit for new and worthwhile food.

We shared meat empanadas as appetizers. They were delicious. I had a delicious steak and onions with rice and black beans and tostones. Tostones are green plantains that are double fried. The first cuts are fried lightly then they are smashed till they are very thin and fried again until crispy. Everything is made to order so it takes a little while. Worth the wait. And you’ll have leftovers with the generous portions. Great service with bilingual waitresses.

The food is great! It’s possibly the best Dominican restaurant here ! I’ve tried them all in Jacksonville. This particular business stands out not only by its art mural but because the service is spot on! 10/10. Very attentive and pleasing! Love itttt!! The Mangu was to die for! And the natural juices as well.

I love this place. Their food has never been below satisfactory and the plates are well worth the price. Everything I’ve had so far was delicious and I do believe I may be addicted to the chicken and rice.

Waitress was amazing. Great service. We had the Dominican breakfast, which takes a little long since it seems it’s made when ordered. But it was well worth it. Will be coming back

Tried it for the first time since it’s close to our house. I had a cheese empanada and the mondongo. Don’t believe the cook. The recipe had to be someone’s mom’s or grandma’s. It was yummy!!! The tres leche was awesome!! Will definitely be back.
