Smaller place. Portions are large for the price you pay! Food comes to the table hot. Grits had a few lumps and some kind of after taste, but the eggs, raisin toast and potatoes were really good.

Alright, I love diners almost as much as I love great food and this place is a solid gem! I love everything about this place and I can’t wait to go back and try more of the food. Be warned: the portions are HUGE! The food portions are definitely sized for blue-collar workers who are out busting their hump on the daily, so if you’re a desk jockey (like myself) you may want to just share a meal with your company (nice thing is a lot of their dishes come in small or large sizes, so they’ve got you coveted regardless).

In this economy, it isn’t easy to find affordable, yet delicious and well-portioned options for the most important meal of the day. Louis filled this void. It feels like it’s been at least a half a dozen years since I’ve had a breakfast this fulfilling. They rank as elite in my price-per-bite metric. Some of the best sausage and eggs I’ve had in a while. Will 100% be back.

Breakfast at Louis was a dream come true! This restaurant boasts extremely friendly staff, wonderful decor, and inexpensive prices. This place is a neighborhood institution. It’s been here for years. Great, friendly atmosphere. Can our waiter was very pleasant. Eggs over easy with cheddar cheese and home fries and Italian toast was delicious. So is the blueberry strawberry pancake. It’s a great neighborhood, Eastside eatery. A Rhode Island tradition.

Placed an order on Uber eats.. they completely forgot to put home fries in both breakfast plates.. I ordered two eggs with toast and home fries for both plates and the home fries was not in any of them… other than that French toast and scrambled eggs was good… but I am upset because homefries makes the plate!
