Wow, had such high hopes. I ordered the funky and it was a tan colored blob with mushy rice. The other rolls were very lackluster, and nothing like the pictures on the website so buyer beware. The pickled ginger was sad, wilted, and without much flavor …gosh they have great marketers, but I will not return.

There was no wait, and they got us a table right away. Im shocked this place wasn’t packed on a Friday night. The food was absolutely phenomenal-by far the best sushi I’ve ever had. Service was amazing, atmosphere was amazing. They even had an outdoor patio (beautiful). Such a perfect place for a date night or dinner with friends. Again sushi was AMAZING! If I could give 100 stars I would-it was that good!

I LOVE Happy Sumo! It is one of my favorite sushi spots in Utah. Always get good service there. Had a very patient server who let my mom lay out birthday decorations for our reservation this last visit. Also, the location is gorgeous and you can walk off your meal on the trail behind the restaurant.

The sushi here is amazing and there are a ton of options. For those who don’t like sushi, their entrees are delicious and would please even the pickiest of eaters. Service is fantastic. The only downside is the price, spent over $100 for two people.
