Very cool place with live music Fridays and sat. Staff was kind and they do have booster seats and high chairs. We enjoyed all the food but the best by far was the pulled pork bc it tastes tangy and different with the sweet corn custard!!!! Soooo good! The only reason we gave 4 stars instead of five is they were out of like all the beers we wanted 🙁 which for a Friday night with a band you would think they would be stocked. But aside from that we enjoyed it!

Picked this place on a road trip south. Interesting decor as you will find something unique each time you look!! The DDD Sampler was featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. If you like Pepsi products this place checks that box. BBQ sauce has a bit of a bite, yet good. Coleslaw a no – unusual taste. Very large glasses for water and soda. Big screens available and stage for entertainment.

WOW! I mean, the food is just that! I want to try everything on this menu! Here we had the chicken and the etoufee. Next time, I’m going full send with a special cocktail and not just a beer

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The food, the atmosphere, the service! This was our first visit on a Friday night, and they had a live band the Killer Wails who were fabulous. Dinner entertainment and lots of dancing! It was difficult to decide what to order since everything on the menu sounded incredible. We tried the shrimp and crawfish etouffee, the voodoo chicken sandwich, Gorgonzola burger, and smothered catfish and it was some of the best food we have ever had. My husband ranks a restaurants spicy chicken every time he tried a new place, and the voodoo chicken has moved to the number one spot. We did have a bit of a wait for seats, but the wait was so worth it! 10/10 recommend!

St Louis’ best roadhouse experience with Cajun twist. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. The signature BBQ shrimp is wonderfully spicy on a bed of rice with enough bread to dip up that magical sauce. Crab cakes are sizeable and tasty. Try the cream cornbread souffle topped with melting honey butter. You might want 2 because you won’t want to share ! Yes, there’s burgers, steaks, sammies and other yummy delights too. Very eclectic atmosphere and their live music is always a bonus with a cover if you’re not eating.

The place was dirty and poor service and food. Beer was warm and had stuff on bottle. All 3 meals were not good. Pepperoni bites were filled with grease. Had containers outside dirty. I will not eat here again

We are absolutely in love with Hwy 61 Roadhouse. Their entire staff is a family that always strives to go above and beyond. The food is always so good and you can tell they are always improving the recipes and service to give their customers an even better experience. And a quick shoutout to April for always being my favorite server…she’s amazing.
