Teddywedgers was delicious with great staff! I got the sausage breakfast biscuit and my husband got a vegetarian chicken masala that was both delicious and warm!

Delicious pastry that I discovered by accident. The service was super friendly and fast. I ordered a sausage pastry with hot sauce and found my new favorite fast food in the city. The pastry was still hot and delicious with its egg and cheese filling. This shop is a great spot for quick, tasty, and cheap food. Loved it and will be back!

Been a childhood favorite of mine, and still holds to be the best food in Madison despite new owners!! There are vegan options available which are good, but I still dream about the pizza kind of ones from when i was a kid the crust is absolutely beautiful and cooked to perfection!!!!

We’ve lived in the Madison area for 7 years, and I’m sad we just now discovered Teddywedgers. The Chickpea Curry Handpie was phenomenal, and one of the best curries I’ve ever had. I was so happy there was a vegetarian option! My husband loved his cheesy, pepperoni one. We’ll definitely be back!

A cute and convenient little coffee shop located right by the capital of with some great options on the menu. The coffee was delicious and made to order. They had an excellent variety of milk alternatives available and the staff was extremely friendly.

TeddyWedgers are like Calzones, with other types of ingredients stuffed inside. We had the Chicken Pot Pie, which turned out to be a light meal for 3. They’re a heavy style comfort food, but really hit the spot after a morning of activity. There is NO seating in this tiny establishment, but plenty of outdoor seating since it’s near Capital Square. This place has been around forever, and should continue for years to come. GLAD this is a hidden gem, with smaller lines than anticipated considering the tastiness that lies within. 4.4 Stars (nowhere to sit)

There are not enough words to say how much I have come to love Teddywedgers. I am here on a good week at least two or three times (this is not including how often people bring me a pasty knowing it’s my favorite). The owners and the staff alike are incredibly kind and hard working individuals. I’ve left here feeling like I’m leaving a friend’s house on numerous occasions. These are great people making great food. As for the pasties, it is shocking how obsessed I have become. I highly encourage you to always ask about the special, as you are sure to be met with something that is out of the box in terms of creativity, piping hot and insanely tasty. If the special isn’t what you’re looking for I often go for the Southwest for breakfast and the Chicken Pot Pie or the Sweet Potato for lunch/dinner. That being said, I frequently make sure to rotate my choices as every option is brilliant and I could never choose just one favorite. The handmade cookies are well priced and so good. On the occasion that they have dessert specials I like to grab one as well because they are -surprise- amazing. They even have a cool collection of sodas I don’t tend to see other places and Slide chips (locally made and delicious potato chips in a massive range of flavors). If you like hot sauce make sure to ask the cashier what their recommendation is. If you want mine, I like the Sauer’s and the Zesty Tobasco. Have I mentioned the price? A full pasty for less than $10 has certainly fueled my twedge craze these last few months.

This used to be a great place when I was in college. Food definitely not as good. The guy at the counter screwed up our order which is hard to do when there’s just a few options.

Teddywedgers is a State St staple. Great unique pasties at a super price. I’ve been going there since Miles days and it’s always been great.
