We got there at 6:50 on Saturday night. The hostess told us the wait would be until 8:00. There was another lady at the hostess station that was trying to get us in sooner but the other hostess refused . There were empty tables everywhere. We decided to eat at the bar, the bartender right away asked us if we’d like a table. He waited on us and made sure our experience was great. The hostess on the other hand… My wife and I and our son had a bill that was $205. I think that’s more than I’ve ever spent. However, the food was very good.

We went for the brunch buffet. They offer a nice variety of breakfast and lunch items. Their dessert bar is lacking from the variety that they have had in the past, only offering a few items. The food is good. The service from the wait staff is friendly but dreadfully slow, especially considering it is buffett so aside from taking drink orders, their only main goal is keeping drinks filled, removing dirty plates and bringing the check. I have yet to visit this restaurant and not have slow service, which is somewhat understandable on a regular night here, but not during a buffet. There appeared to be plenty of staff everywhere, so it wasn’t a matter of being understaffed. If you like a good buffet and are not annoyed by slow service, then this place will work fine for you.

Overall very good. Food was excellent. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Only issue was pacing was a little slow from salad to main. If I had option would have given a higher decimal rating, but so slow between courses just couldn’t give 5. Maybe just an off evening.

Very nice restaurant with a nice wine and cocktail list. I had the chicken Kiev, which was absolutely delicious, and my husband had the blackened sirloin, which was also fantastic and cooked perfectly. Dessert was cheesecake, and also delicious. Definitely recommend!

This is the second time that my husband and I have been to prime and wine. The first time was like 5 years ago. I was absolutely blown away by the service and the quality of food I have the salmon with dill sauce and a baked potato, out of the swirl! I tried the flirtini and I would highly recommend that. I also tried the raspberry kiss a martini which was delicious as well. If you haven’t tried prime and wine you are missing out! One of Mason city’s hidden gems. Delicious we will definitely be back.
