For many years my family LOVED Nonnies. A few years ago we stopped going because they were consistently getting our take out/delivery orders wrong. Tonight we decided to give them another chance. Receipt on the box correctly summarized our order but when I got it home there was a completely different pizza inside. Congratulations Nonnies. You have proven again that you are not worth our business.

Love the food. So much to choose from. Will be going back. But the service was a bit slow. It’s possible because we went at 3pm. After lunch before dinner. Only one waitress. I like paying with cash and getting discount. Seems more places are doing that now. They don’t want to have to pay the 3-5% fee the credit cards are charging. And are passing it on to customers. Finally a way to save money when eating out. We pass it on to the server.

The food here is very good. Right away they bring out warm fresh bread. The pizza is solid as well as the chicken parmesan. I was all set to make this a favorite until the bill came. We had a group of 10 and they did not split the checks. When we asked about it the waitress said we didn’t ask from the beginning and she didn’t know she had to. We were a pretty diverse group so this explanation didn’t really sit well. The manager came out and was incredibly snarky and refused to split the check because we “can just use venmo.” Which required one of us using our card for a $200+ bill. Seems like splitting the check would have been easier for everyone and the chance she would have gotten a bigger tip with everyone tipping individually. The manager said he’d “train his people better” but I’d recommend avoiding this place altogether. The food is good but not worth the attitude that comes with it. I cannot remember the last place I went to where the checks weren’t split automatically.

Where do I start? We’ve driven past so many times for over 5 years and randomly decided to stop today. Mary Jane was our host and she was an absolute delight! She made some recommendations and we took her up on most of them. The french fries were perfectly crisped. The buffalo wings were sauced in amazing sauce AND ridiculously crispy, perfect to be honest. The pizza was delicious. We had the Italian Stallion and regular cheese. The onion rings portion was huge and so tasty. We took some tiramisu home…which I tried as soon as we got home. The flavors were perfectly balanced and exactly what one would look for in the true version of tiramisu. Lastly, the prices are great for the quality and quantity of food you get. One of the owners even came out to greet us and ask how our meal was. There was another family sitting nearby that had questions on some ingredients in a dish, and the owner came out with his phone to go through the ingredients list to be sure it accommodated the guests! This was such a pleasant surprise to see that such a wonderful establishment is so close to home. We will definitely be back soon!

Delicious food. Little mishap with some missing sauces after delivery, but they ran them right over in under 10 minutes, and it was great. Best Buffalo wings in the DG/Woodridge area and the pie also rips. Great place!

Younger than 65? Still have all your taste buds? Then this is not the place for you. Slow, lackadaisical, horrible service. Waitress got the order wrong, but then copped an attitude with us!! Cavatelli had freezer burn aftertaste with bland marinara, and pizza was greasy and salty. Nothing Italian about this food. 1 appetizer, 1 pasta dish and a 16″ cheese only pizza, $52.87??? The 16″ pizza by me (that tastes 100% better) is $18.90, theirs $24.00!!! Nope, never again. Only ones who seem to be coming in are old people who were probably friends with the original owner back in high school, and come in out of habit.

We were delighted to find Nonnie’s open for lunch on the 4th of July. We enjoyed an amazing meal, patio experience and exceptional service from Mary Jayne. Our lunch was cooked to perfection and we appreciated being checked on by the pizza chef, Sherri! When does that ever happen?!? A reminder to ourselves: enjoy this place more frequently.

We made a reservation for 26 for my grandma’s birthday 2 weeks in advance, they called us the day before to explain that they were suddenly overbooked and asked if we would be okay using an upstairs party room which was totally fine until we were completely ignored. Our reservation for 6pm and we didn’t see a waitress until someone from our party went down and got someone to help us at almost 7pm. We ended up ordering 5 pizzas because we were told by our server we would get free 12 inch cheese pizzas with our 18 inch pizzas. He completely forgot to put in the one soup/sandwich order which we had to again track him down just to ask about 30 mins after the pizza came.
