Food was good. Counters and kitchen looked really clean. I ordered the hamburger paddy and replaced beans with fries. Interesting new flavors. The staff was very nice and attentive. Would come back again if in the area.

This place has probably never been cleaned, not once, since opening. The seats and tables were truly filthy. We ordered fish and shrimp, plus fries. The order came with chili rice(?!). Both the fish and shrimp were incredibly greasy. The shrimp was over-breaded so that the flavorless breading was all you could taste. The fish was also bland, though the breading wasn’t as heavy. I couldn’t eat the chili rice, as 1)I didn’t, and would never, order it and 2) it looked liked something my cat excretes when she’s not feeling well.

Yum, yum, yummy! I’ve been coming here for a few years now and I love it. I usually order their shrimp and fish combo with fries. This time I added a fish taco to my order and was very happy with it. There is something about their batter that I really like, it’s not that typical “rough textured” type, it’s the smoother type. If that makes any sense haha. This place has that old school neighborhood feel to it that I grew up with. Thank you Johnny’s Shrimp Boat, I appreciate you guys!

Great old school style shrimp, rice and gravy that takes you back to your childhood! They don’t make it like this anymore. The restaurant is a little old and dingy but very friendly staff.
