let me start with the atmosphere-i liked the chill vibe and tvs plus it’s a bar so it’s casual. we got very good mozzarella sticks and the best ranch i’ve had in my life-they suggested this combo and it was life changing. the cheese burgers were great. service was friendly.

It’s a quiet and cozy bar&grill set up. The waitress was nice and quick. They were really busy so our food took a little longer to get but appetizers were quick. We brought 6 kids with us. They have booster seats and high chairs. The bathroom is a little small but the entire place was clean. Definitely planning on going again. We ordered jalapeno cheese balls as one of our appetizers and those alone already want us to go back

We LOVE Stimp’s! Our family was just passing through on a family road trip and stumbled upon this great establishment. We got a “Happy Birthday” upon our arrival by another patron (though it was no one’s birthday), he then proceeded to buy us a round. We then ate a delicious pizza and finished the night with a house shot! The owners and servers were extremely friendly and welcoming to non-locals like ourselves. Hope we get a chance to come back to Stimp’s.

Stopped in to Stimp’s while visiting Minonk for a high-school basketball game. Bar is cozy and old-school, like a place you’d find on the NW side of Chicago. People were great fun, very friendly. Barstaff was friendly and sharp. I got the pork-chop sandwhich which came with homemade chips. The chips were dark and super-crispy, went great with the draft beers. I would not hesitate drop back in to Stimps when I’m in town again.

Stopped in Saturday 9/14/19 on our way home. Ordered fried Chicken didn’t include salad bar got a small salad and twice baked potatoe .chicken outside was overdone and tough . wife didn’t eat all her she said something wasn’t right potato had to much garlic took away from the taste of potato .no bread or roll with dinner had to get a steak with salad bar to get bread.thigh and leg not separate would of been better and easier to eat. Worse chicken dinner ever and to top it off we both had bad stomachs afterward up all night sick .So I think they should check the chicken .

Went on a Sunday afternoon. No food just hard as a brick pizza that you had to use a steak knife. Poor boy sandwich good but only had ham and cheese if I remember correctly

I worked here for 4 years. To start off it was awesome. A great environment and I loved coming to work. That all changed when Amanda, the manager, found out I was promoted and Nick didn’t tell her. She said I was undeserving and he had zero right to do that and called him a stupid old man. She claimed the will bar close after she quits because Nick doesn’t know how to run it without her. A man named Terry worked there for a short period of time. Amanda joked and claimed she had him running up and down the stairs trying to get him to quit because he was too old to do the job. She also dropped a child’s burger on the floor, served it, and said nothing would come back to her because the health department would punish Nick, not her. Two regulars, Randall and Morgan, came in just before 8 one night and ordered pourboy sandwiches. Amanda dropped one on the floor and served it saying F*** them for coming in too late. She claimed that cooking one set of chicken used for salads/wraps/pizza must be fully cooked and the grilled chicken sandwiches were fine to be uundercooked or raw in the middle because they would be cooked again even though both sets of chicken would be reheated anyway. There was never consistency in the kitchen. A young girl hired on as a dishwasher ONLY was asked to dice vegetables. She cut her finger (she would get lectured for not doing anything when there were no dishes). Her hours were cut to 1 day a week because she went to the doctor to get it glued. The entire staff would receive rude, sometimes threatening emails most of time for reasons that didn’t involve them (still have proof). This caused at least 2 people to quit. Then they wonder why nobody wants to work there.
