I have been to a few of the Mi Cocina locations in Dallas and it is a good spot for Mexican food across the board – the menu attempts to be a bit upscale from your standard tex-mex fare. It is very good but one this visit, the ingredients did not seem as fresh as during other visits. Also our entrees were served cold and had to be reheated. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is very classy. The facilities definitely have the feel of a five star dining establishment, very well designed and outfitted.

Mi Cocina is an upscale Tex-Mex restaurant. If you’re looking for powerful margaritas and a good time you have found the spot! Located just off of the Sam Rayburn Tollway next to Nebraska Furniture Mart, it is very accessible to get too. I had the sunset enchiladas and I was not disappointed, the Chile-Cilatro Queso on top was to die for! I recommend coming here with a big group of friends and family to celebrate and enjoy a night together.

We ordered fajitas and they had no seasoning and honestly for the price it was probably the worst food ever. The one shrimp was tough and the price was 3.95. That’s appetizer. Oh yeah and you get 4 wedge potatoes on fajitas. Very odd.
