This fried chicken was moist and crunchy, it was a good portion. It’s seasoned well, usually people add hot sauce or I add ranch and it really wasnt needed. The Mac was unique, I liked it, I had some of my cousins fries and their fry sauce which was so good. Would like to come back for more! The restaurant has seating indoors and outdoors.

This place is great. It may be tough to find parking as there is limited spaces in front of the restaurant. Please find a spot because this food was amazing! The service was friendly and they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Would recommend!

We started with the bacon and it was really tasty. A perfect blend of spice and sweetness. Then everyone ordered the chicken. The chicken is really really good but the sides could be better. The succotash was under seasoned; it had all the right ingredients but lacked flavor. The Mac n cheese also lacked flavor, the cheese sauce was very rich but lacked any depth in flavor. It needed salt or spice or something other than just having a lot of cheese. I would give it another try because the chicken and the hot honey were both really really tasty.

I can not say enough about the food. It was amazing! Started with the hush puppies and an order of bacon. Both were next level. Bacon was crisp and had brown sugar glaze and some spiciness. Then came the chicken sandwich and I added a side of mashed potatoes. The sandwich was better than most other chicken sandwiches. Chicken was juicy, and it had a Cole slaw on it that made it enjoyable. The mashed potatoes though were incredible! They were real and had some lumps but you could tell it was homemade mashed potatoes. For dessert I ordered another order of bacon because why not. I WILL come here again. You should too.

The food was delicious. I wanted to go back the next day but I live too far away. We ordered 4 items and were all delicious (which is rare) also our waitress was friendly! We got a chopped salad with very juicy delicious fried chicken on top and a spoon bread on the side. Spoon bread is very good sweet cornbread you eat with a spoon. Also ordered a chicken sandwich which was amazing and a side of delicious Mac and cheese. I want to go back for the fried chicken and sweet potatoes next!

Robbie was absolutely fantastic. Just the right mix of zest, sass and helpfulness that has seemingly been lost in the restaurant industry.

Pricey, so not holding back on the critique… The service was great and the atmosphere was good, parking was not expensive. The mac & cheese and the french fries with comeback sauce are the highlights, both solidly above average. The fried chicken is good, but a little greasy.. although at 30 dollars for a whole bird it better be. The hush puppies were ok, but their dipping sauce completely overwhelmed their flavor. The spoon-bread is not spoon-bread, but rather a light and super sweet cornbread. It’s good cornbread, but it’s no spoon-bread (definitely doesn’t require a spoon). The mint & rye cocktail I had was below average; I’ve had better mixed drinks from a can.

Service was excellent. Went around 6 on a Sunday with a party of 4. Seated right away. Our waitress was great. Establishment is very clean. Everything was delicious except for the macaroni and cheese. It just wasn’t exactly my cup of tea. Other then that delicious!
