The Musubi Truck is an exciting food truck created by Kaua’i native ʻohanas, The Kakaliaʻs and The Aguinaldoʻs, with their elevated interpretation of the original SPAM Musubi. It was a great meal! First time having musubi, I enjoyed it. The poke was not the best we ever had in Hawaii (because they r all so delicious!), but still very good. Prices are fair and I like the little picnic area to sit and enjoy your meal. Parking in the streets.

We got the ohana sampler, truffle tots, but the star of the show which is by far the best thing on their menu is the deep fried musubi. My boyfriend LOVES musibi so this was a must-do. They put way too much rice that the ratio was off which was kind of a bummer. Some sriracha or some local Kauai Juice Co hot sauce would really be nice to offer to enhance these rolls. Great location.

Very comforting food. I dropped by early before I left the island. The lady at the truck was super hospitable. She recommended the chicken katsu so that’s what I got. The rice was soft and warm, the chicken was crunchy, and the sauce was delicious. I’m glad I gave it a shot, will be back in my next visit!

We tried this place a few days ago while exploring town & it was so good we went back for more yesterday. Love the taste of the OG Musubi – it’s the perfect snack/meal to bring to the beach – compact & easy to eat. For the perfect umami experience I recommend the Deep Fried Musubi – served in a basket sushi roll style & so delicious! I would go back again for this treat. The dining area is tucked away from the street with a few picnic tables w/umbrellas & water misters – added bonus on a sunny day.

First time trying musubi and it was delicious!! We got the tofu based on recommendation. The musubi was really refreshing and perfectly sized for a filling snack or light lunch. The sauce it comes with makes it the perfect yummy bite!

Surprisingly our favorite poke bowl on the island – ahi tasted fresh and clean. Daughter loved the spam musubi. Tater tots were very good and we wish we would have got more of truffle ones.
