Small diner on Main Street. Was packed when the 4 of us came in. But service was quick. Great selection on the menu, personally food wise, if the burger was a bit bigger, but the waitress made ours a meal special instead of just burgers and a side of fries. Don’t know the price difference but the food was good. Everything came out hot, including the fresh cut fries. Definitely small town feel, they new most of the other customers by name, so gives you a small town feel. All in all, not bad.

My family (3 kids, husband, and I) stopped by on a Sunday at 11. It was busy, but we found seats immediately. Service was great and attentive. The food was brought out quickly and pricing was reasonable. Typical dinner fare, with chili fries, breakfast all day, burgers. Their gravy was excellent, and the chili on the fries was given thumbs up all around. The eggs, sausage, toast, pancakes were decent, but nothing outstanding. Takeaway: clean, solid restaurant with great staff, kid-friendly despite not having a dedicated kids’ menu.

Best greasy spoon diner in Scranton! The entire staff from cooks, servers, dish washers, and bus boys are totally friendly, on point, engaging and easy to talk to. 2 thumbs up! (Plus they have a young staff member who looks like Zendaya, but better in every aspect. Modest, humble, polite and friendly… she’s restored my hope in the future of our younger generation)

What is it new owners?? Asked for gravy for the fries and got a side ketchup container of gravy. That isn’t enough for one fry. Wieners were terrible also. Very little weiner sauce. All you could taste was mustard. I can make a hot dog with mustard at home. Today you lost my business. Have been going there for 30+ years. Coney Island here I come.

Jessie was very polite. The burgers were awesome, so were the fries, however, what sealed the deal was the INCREDIBLE HOMEMADE peanut butter cream pie and the delicious cookie with COLOSSAL chocolate chunks on top. What a find this establishment was!!

Growing up in West Scranton keystone diner was always a good place to go and have a good Texas lunch. The only thing that really has changed about keystone diner is the prices. Texas weiners still made exactly the same as I remember from when I was a little punk rocker. Fry’s with cheese and gravy still awesome. Thanks keystone for all the good food keep it coming!
