This restaurant has become a local favorite featuring specials for the day. I heard that their fried chicken was unbeatable and I agree. You pick two sides and I picked gravy over rice and potato salad. Very good! The staff was very attentive.

The sausage gravy was kind of bland, but the biscuits were thin, not dry, and had an amazing texture and flavor. My eggs were cooked perfectly (over medium), and the cheesy hashbrown casserole had a really nice flavor, but the potatoes needed to cook a bit longer. They were a bit too al dente for me. If you get the chance, try the fried chicken and gravy breakfast. The fried chicken was fire! Our server was pleasant, and she kept the coffee flowing. I will try this place again when I come back to town.

Kinda small inside, plenty of parking, staff was great, and food tastes great. I had the pull bbq pork plate with mac’n cheese, collars, and bacon cream corn plus rice an gravy, with sweet tea. Tea wasn’t too sweet, which they had sweetern on the table for you, I perfer it this way because you can add but can’t take away. I also ordered (2) family meals. I’ll give a solid 8.9 out 10. I would an will recommend people. Will be back.

Stopped in for lunch, looking for some southern goodness and we surely found it! Lunch time rush but got our orders taken and food super fast. I tried the pulled pork BBQ and absolutely had to get the Mac and cheese. Sooo good, will definitely be coming by again when working in the area. Clean bathrooms and very friendly staff (I think our waitress was one of the actual Southern Mamas from the sign lol) Its great to see an independent spot doing well. 10/10

I should have taken pictures especially of my huge chili dog with homemade chili. But what impressed me the most was their compassion toward an elderly lady with me. There was a problem with her card and it was obvious she wasn’t understanding. They could have said…no money…no food. Instead the manager whispered to me, ‘Its okay’. And she was able to enjoy her delicious chicken and dumplings. Thank you for delicious food and heartfelt compassion that is difficult to find these days!

Authentic southern food. Bbq is excellent. Green beans so good. Potato salad is a favorite of mine while my husband can’t resist hash&rice. Occasionally a special featured sandwich. I’m telling you their Cuban. Best I’ve ever had. Haven’t tried the salads but seen many served an they look delicious.

The food is amazing. You can tell everything is homemade. Went for lunch no wait. The service is great never needed anything always a full glass of tea. The wait on food was quick. This is a great southern food place. Everything is seasoned well. Good prices for the amount of food you get.
