This is a tough one to rate because if you order off of the menu, their food is quite good, but their buffet leaves a lot to be desired, in my opinion. My wife would give them 4 stars, but I have to be honest in the reviews coming from me. If I were to review solely off of the menu items and not the buffet, they would be closer to 4 stars overall. Some of the items seem like they may have been pre-packaged and not freshly made, but they cooked them well all the same. For the areas in close proximity to Anamosa (Marion, Mount Vernon), they have some of the better Chinese fare going. The staff is always polite and helpful. In no way am I saying you shouldn’t try this place because opinions vary and my opinion is just that, 1 opinion. I would say if you aren’t expecting the moon, then you will probably like it. Since my wife likes it a lot, we will continue to dine there, and I just won’t be doing the buffet again.

Food was made with a hot sauce that it shouldn’t have been. I don’t think they believed us. Didn’t want to give us new rice or Rangoons. The sauce from the beef broccoli had soaked in to everything! They were very disgusted with the whole thing, and so was I! So much for having Chinese food in anamosa!

Will always be my favorite Chinese restaurant! The buffet is very good, love their egg drop soup. My favorite is ordering chicken and broccoli with white sauce to go. The service is always friendly.

I’ve had some of the freshest Chinese food I’ve ever had from this restaurant. Delicious, you love the crab rangoon. Ladies are always very polite, when the salad bar is up it is always fresh, and the fortunes, highly entertaining.
