I GREW UP DOWN CRYSTAL BEACH IN THE 70S & AM MOVING FROM WHERE I LIVE NOW TO CRYSTAL BEACH. SO MANY FRIEND’S STILL HERE & NEW FRIEND’S ON THE RISE. Pretty run down old house that was converted into a bar/ Bodega, food was okay definitely not a place to bring kids… Just a local bar with local people definitely not a place to stop in for a quick bite to eat if your not feom around there!!

Other reviews prompted us to go here but the food was not good at all. The stuffed mushrooms were described on the menu as “Imperial” which had no such sauce & were dry, had barely any crab meat & quite bland. When I kindly told the very sweet waitress that I didn’t care for them, the woman tending bar came over and was rude and disrespectful. The sweet potatoe “fries” were more like logs & were very greasy. The fried rockfish on special was quite bland as well. The Italian lemon cake was good though. Definitely won’t be going back there.

I ate dinner Fireside Beach Grill Plus, with a few friends, our dinners were very good, Wait staff, very professional, and so were the bartenders. Very good meal. Like eating a home cooked meal.

Had amazing dinner last night here. I had the rib eye steak. It was perfectly cooked the way I ordered it. Wife had the lobster tails. They were amazing and fresh. We both had the mash potatoes and they tasted like your grandma’s mash potatos. All around great atmosphere. If you ever get a chance take time and try it you will not be disappointed.
