Spring rolls are flimsy and yellow, peanut sauce is liquid and flavorless.

Super expensive. I ordered from ubereats, the picture on the menu in ubereats is fake. You actually only get 1 banh bao for $5.95 and 1 pate chuad for $5.95. You can see how small they are in the picture.

Oui Banh Mi is a delightful late-night Vietnamese restaurant that has become a go-to spot for those seeking a satisfying Vietnamese culinary experience at any hour. This hidden gem shines brightly with its delectable menu, prompt service, and convenient operating hours that cater to the night owls in search of authentic Vietnamese flavors.

Visiting Houston! Heard that really good Vietnamese cuisine exists here and so proceeded to try this one out since it was the only one open when my flight arrived. One of the saddest and worst banh mi sandwiches I have ever tried in my life. I have had far better ones from the refrigerator section of the Asian grocery store. It was hardly substantial in the filling nor was the filling in itself satisfying. Whatever that was there lost its unique flavor. My tofu banh mi sandwich was also smothered in a mayo/ranch-like dressing, making it less and less desirable. It reminded me of burger king’s chicken sandwich. After a few bites, I tossed it. I can’t speak for any other food items on the menu but purchase and consume at your own risk when it comes to the banh mi!

Oui Banh Mi is a reliable neighborhood outpost for quick (and cheap) drive-thru and take out. The dining room is currently closed. The food is solid and reliable. It’s great for lunch on the go or picking up an easy dinner after a long day. OBM is also open late, which is a plus for night owls and those visiting the many bars in the area.

Ordered two bowls of pho with tofu and one order of shrimp spring rolls from here through Uber Eats for my boyfriend and myself. Firstly, the spring rolls were floppy and loose and fell apart as soon as we bit into them. The pho was even worse. The vegetables and herbs weren’t kept in a separate container or bag like every other pho restaurant I’ve ordered from; the basil and cilantro were placed UNDER the hot noodles, wilting them and severely impacting their freshness and flavor. On top of this there were no bean sprouts, limes, jalapeños, or sauces to go with the soup, which is also standard in every other place I’ve ordered from. The quality and preparation of this food was so subpar I was honestly shocked. Won’t ever be ordering from this place again!

I’ll start this review by stating that even a 2 star rating is generous for this place. I took the picture for better visuals and for the sake of the review. A couple of things; the portions are almost offensive and they seem carelessly prepared. The spring rolls are skinnier than they look, the beef is dry and burnt which makes it very chewy and unpleasant to eat. The peanut sauce, which I truly hoped was the classic sauce tasted like a store bought version, and ruins the spring roll. I also purchased a Banh Mi (if it’s in their name that should be their specialty I suppose) and let me say that it was unbelievably bad.. Also dry and no taste. The meat was cold and you couldn’t make sense of any of the ingredients. Very disappointing and I hope something can be done to this place as it has lots of potential.

Delicuous sandwiches and spring rolls. Very fast service. The best part of the whole experience is the price!! Finally a place that is very reasonable priced since the covid epidemic.

Totally disappointed. The amount of food compared to the bread was nothing, it seemed like only about 1/4 of the Chargrilled pork sandwich filling was placed. I ordered spring rolls and got summer rolls instead which tasted odd. Also got egg rolls and those were very disappointing, over cooked, extremely rock hard. The other ppl that also got food had the same complaints with their orders as well. I decided to try them cause my regular spot is currently closed for remodeling, this was the first time I’ve been here and I could say it will be the last..
