We were seated right away. Our waiter was very polite. Very good service, as soon as we sat down, we were brought water and bread with butter. Nice ambiance in the restaurant, quiet music in the background, white table cloths etc. (blinds need to be dusted a little though ).

Such a great meal! The asparagus starter was petty yummy. The baby back ribs were very good, very tender. The sides of the Izzy’s potatoes & the Brussel sprouts were also really good! The fish of the day was prepared very well & a great dish as well. Enjoy!!

My daughter and son in law took me to Izzy’s for a birthday lunch, I ordered the blackened New York Strip Steak, waiter stated the steak was cooked in a cajun seasoning, however when I took my first bite with the flavor of NOLA on my mind, disappointed, lacked that cajun spice. The mushrooms and salad were tasty.

Not recommended, we wanted a restaurant close to our hotel and saw Izzy’s … we wernt very hungry so wanted a hearty dinner salad, maybe spinach with extras or similar… here are the photo’s of the salads 1 ceasar and the other was called hearts of romaine. they were very small and $10 each! one beer $10 entire dinner was over $30! Service was very slow, they waited on another table first that came in 10 mins after us. The place was old and very dirty (its very dark in there so I turned on my flashlight on the phone and looked under the table… YIKES! Carpet and corners hadnt been vaccuumed or cleaned in forever… I should have taken a photo. Restroom was disgusting. Finally there were multiple signs in the Parking Lot, on the entry door and at the tables that warned of frequent thefts and that they wouldnt be responsible… Really? Why not hire a security guard to stand out there and keep an eye on things? We wont be back to Izzy’s. – Kent

I had a really nice experience dining outdoors on MLK day. My server, Antonio, was friendly and attentive. I was the only one eating outdoors on a slow night, but nobody ever complained about having to walk an extra 75 feet to wait on me, and I tipped them accordingly. The food was quite good as well, though my butterflied blackened filet was well-done on one side and medium on the other (I asked for medium). Because I was having such a nice time I rolled with it, and overall was quite pleased with the meal.

I absolutely enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. I found the food very good here and so did every member of my decently large party. They have an extensive drinks menu and fairly pretty prompt service with reordering. The staff was very nice. There is a separate full bar area where you can stand and mingle

IZZY’s never disappoints. It’s like an old friend you can always count on to be there for you. I always go with the prime rib and the wedge salad. Both are excellent. It’s no fuss meat-a-palooza here. The brussel sprouts are wonderful with just a hint of lemon. The Izzy’s potatoes are always good, but they are pretty much swimming in butter. I don’t know about the desserts because I’m always stuffed. Let me know if you get that far. Delicious meal at a fair price.
