Some chains have varying quality depending on the location and its employees. They all have the same ingredients available but unless the staff puts their heart into what they’re doing, the quality of the product suffers. This location puts their heart into it and it shows. The bread is fresh… crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside for example. And double meat ordered meant double meat on the sandwich.

Terrible! I ordered Uber eats for potato soup and got a DQ blizzard of burnt gunk. You would think the employee scooping this into a bowl would have thought twice about letting this go out the door. Never again

My favorite meal. An original with no onions. The small is plenty and the medium is great if you are hungry, cracked pepper chips are marvelous and their soda machines are always correctly adjusted so you get a coke and not just fizzy water… There’s something so special about that store baked sourdough bun! I managed to avoid the Cinnabon today with difficulty. They are so good and a constant temptation Thanks for serving me since 1973…

They were out of gluten free bread. The girl on front counter, took my order and left us waiting for 3 minutes before coming to tell me. I was mifed they didn’t have my bread.

The staff here was so polite.. there was a young man changing the soda machine out that helped customers re fill drinks when he fixed it. Let them know it was fixed and got her drink for her so she didn’t have to get up from her seat. It’s little polite gestures like this that will bring me back. The cashier was very patient when i ordered too, I couldn’t decide on what to get..

Clean and friendly staff. It’s a nice piece to grab a bite to eat. Now it’s a part of Austin’s eatery. It’ had a great delicious menu. They also have some cinnabon treats on the side to choose from. Chips and a good selection of drinks to choose from.

The Blanco location has been one of the better Scholtzsky’s franchises in San Antonio; however, they have once again failed in providing acceptable service. Tables were dirty, no “hot sauce” available anywhere and, as a topper, they lost my order…again. It wouldn’t be so bad but this is the third time this has happened. I waited over 30 minutes before I said anything because they had a very busy drive thru and apparently only three employees to cover drive thru and dining room. I can only guess this franchise manager or owner is too cheap to attract employees (hiring sign was up) who really work to give good, efficient service and far to lazy of an owner/manager to work during the lunch rush. Anyway, I finally got my #2 small sandwich after devouring the chips and needing a refill on tea. The sandwich was good even though it was sloppily and hurriedly assembled (no pickle?). I can’t say this was a happy lunch, I missed an appointment, and because I ate so fast, had indigestion all afternoon. Next time the Blanco Schlotzsky will be at best a second choice.

I didn’t see this pizza on the outside menu, but it was suggested by someone I know to order it and it is oh so delicious. The fresh veggie pizza is packing mushrooms, black olives, tomatoes, red onion and green bell pepper. I’ll definitely be ordering it again.
