Best grilled cheese I have eaten in my life. We went for a snack and decided to share. I almost got one to go. The onion rings were delicious, too. Service was fast, and the atmosphere was wonderful.

This is the best place I’ve ever been. Better prices than Fatz with real home cooking. Everything we tried was amazing from the candied bacon, fried green tomatoes, burgers, pimento cheese Mac and cheese, meatloaf, onion rings. Service was great, food was fresh. I’d give it ten stars if I could. The ambiance is very nice for a quiet calm meal, low lighting with a cozy feeling

Food was average- waited 25 mins for food which was ok as it is PHS graduation. My son ordered the French Dip- Au Jus was served in a SMALL 2 oz plastic container. I asked for a bowl- not more Au Jus and was charged $1.50. The servers explained “the owner” charged for the Au Jus and she was surprised. It’s not the $1.50. I tipped $20 on a $62 bill. I didn’t ask for more dip- just a bowl that would allow him to dip his sandwich in- the point of a “French Dip”. Very petty. My money goes elsewhere. Reconsider your choice.

If you like tasteless cold food prepared and served by indifferent staff then this is the place for you. All four in our party put our forks down after a couple of bites and looked at each other in disbelief. From cold burnt rock hard hushpuppies to bland tasting cold meatloaf and cold dry overcooked salmon, all that was placed before us was truly pitiful. Side items were substituted without asking us. No one asked how our meals were. It was more important for a greeter to turn her back on us to wipe down menus then to seat us. No one thanked us for coming as we left. We all have homes in the area and have dined in many Haywood County restaurants. This was our first time here, but never again.
