Can’t say enough about how great the food is. Best, fresh tasting, and the flavors jump off the plate, roll around your taste buds, then into your mouth!! My wife ordered the swordfish. My taste for seafood starts and stops at fish sticks and fried shrimp::;;;But, I tasted my wife’s, and let me tell you,,was flavorful-a cross between a light pleasant fish , chicken, and a steak. I know that sounds weird, but I will order the swordfish next time. The antipasta board was very fresh and all the meats and cheeses complemented each other. The pesto gnocchi was unlike any gnocchi I ever had, considering my Italian aunts homemade the standard gnocchi- potato or sausage wrapped in dough. Zeppoli’s version is a very light dough with a light cheese and spinach-an inside out gnocchi. Very light and although filling, did not give you the carb, starchy, lead on your stomach feeling. This meal was the best Italian meal I have had since Rome Italy, ten years ago. The pasta was tasty and melted in your mouth. Can’t wait to ho back. Great staff also.

The food is good but too oily. A lot of oil is everywhere, salads, pasta, and main course. I asked not to put oil, and I still got a lot of oil. After I left the restaurant, I felt thirsty and had heartburn. In addition, the price is $55 for three courses and $75 for four. You also might pay an upcharge if you select something outside of preselected food. I think for the price I pay they should not charge upcharge.

The service and the bread were good, but the food was not good at all.

It’s a lovely, intimate restaurant. They have a price fixe menu right now which is the main reason why I think it’s a four and not a five. While the food was good, I didn’t think it was good enough to justify the price. The choices are a three course which includes an appetizer, pasta and dessert or a four course with an appetizer, pasta and dessert. I wish they had the info about the differences in courses on the website so we could’ve been prepared, especially since their card machine was broken and it was cash only. We wanted entrees so we got the more expensive four course option.

Food was good but perhaps a little on the salty side. Fixed price 3 or 4 course meal but overall good choices. Service was good but we came at a time when our server left for the night after he took our order so we did feel a bit abandoned. But the rest of the staff did care for our needs. Overall, a nice dinner experience.

The Food Villain
The quality of the food is very high in this rustic Sicilian restaurant. Homely and hearty dishes, liberal in olive oil. The ricotta gnocchi are only second to those I had in Fiorella in Philadelphia, and only by a tiny bit. The rabbit stew was excellent. And the canoli the best I had in my life.

We went mid week and it was still packed. The food was the best Italian I’ve had in years. The gnocchi tasted like fluffy clouds. Can’t wait to go back! The only down side is its fixe pris, so i was stuffed! Loved

Delicious food, great service! This was our first visit and we each got the three course. I can’t imagine being able to eat four courses. The bread and tomato salad was so good, the gnocchi were likes clouds of yum. My husband had the rabbit stew and loved it. We shared a pitcher of lemonade and it was perfect!

So this was a no- go for me. I waited a long time for a reservation. My total for food was $77. I ended up with a salad, a small dish of pasta that was so spicy- I couldn’t eat it -and one Zeppoli for dessert. I will say the dining room is quaint. I asked for a little bit more bread, and they said they would need to charge me for it. The olive oil and olives with the bread was so spicy with red pepper flakes that I could not eat it. The shrimp appetizer was so spicy with red pepper flakes- I could not eat it lastly the entrée -the lemon tagliatelle was also so spicy. There was so much red pepper flakes in the dish that I could not eat it. The menu should indicate that it’s a little bit spicy or the server should indicate that it is a little spicy, perhaps the red pepper flakes ruined my palate. I was disappointed with our experience! I waited a while to get a reservation and heard about the homemade pasta. Was so excited to come here ! I just ended up spending a lot of money for not much value. Of note, I did call the next day to speak to a supervisor. I did not bring anything up when I was with my guest. I just did not want to do that in front of her. I told the supervisor/manager I wanted to discuss before posting a review. Possibly maybe he could credit me my pasta dish back? He was very dismissive and said this is a Restaurant business go ahead and post and then hung up on me!! The portions are small and it’s not à la cart at this time-it’s prix fixe expensive menu. I was hoping for an amazing dining experience. I will definitely not return. I am in a restaurant supper club and I’ll spread the word to go somewhere else ! . Manager customer service the worst ever ! rude rude rude –
