We order Pursuit of Meat Sweats. A meal for two. About meat, it was a rainbow of flavors, salt, sweet, smoked, like. Ask for bourbon BBQ sauce, it’s amazing. If you like BBQ beans this is the place. Coleslaw is perfect for intense flavors. The Texas bread your mount will enjoy.

We were walking around DT P Cola and the fam felt like BBQ. Smokehouse came up instantly (and with decent reviews). Love the area (Historic Pensacola) and the surrounding area. And I took my boys for a walk while we waited for our meals. We ordered the brisket nachos, pulled pork sandwich, a smash burger meal, and a loaded baked potato topped with pulled pork. Of all the meals…it was the smash burger that was the best. Everything else was just basic and unimpressive. Service was good. If you ever stop by be sure to order a smash burger!

The corn dip is a MUST when eating here. I also ordered the Brisket Mac and Cheese bowl and it was amazing! It was very tender and the sweet heat bbq sauce definitely brought it all together.

Very good smoked BBQ. I am not a fan of heavy smoke, but my spouse is. They make it to where we both genuinely enjoyed it, just enough but not overwhelming. I also do not eat pulled pork, but I tore up the pulled pork loaded nachos! This is definitely our new go to spot for BBQ in Pensacola! This is the select 2 meats plate (brisket and chicken) with Mac N Cheese for the side and the loaded nachos appetizer.

My husband & I enjoyed the mac & cheese bowl with brisket & the bbq pork nachos and some drinks. The place smelled amazing, had a cozy atmosphere & good service. Friendly staff and bartenders. Definitely worth a visit.

First time going yesterday 7/2/23 so we went for The Pursuit of Meat Sweats x 2 for the 4 of us. More than enough food for 6 to 8 people with 2 orders. The meats were savory and the sides were very good. Mac n ‘ cheese was very good but the collards were of of this world delicious! There was only 1 server and 1 bartender when we went but the service they provided you would have never known there were so few of them. Outstanding! The cocktail Pink Cadillac is now my fav drink. My only complaint was the brisket, though very flavorful, was too tough so I only had 1 bite. Def would give it another try!

I had brisket and sausage platter with potato salad. Brisket was very tender, but could have had a little more smoky flavor Sausage was very tasty, and the potato salad was above average. Several others in the party didn’t particularly care for the cole slaw. Server was very cheerful and efficient, and it was generally a very positive experience.
