BUT we are all about FOOD. Suzanne and Ray LOOOVE food and it shows in their seasonal changing menu. Filled with signature items like Pimento Cheese Wontons, signature wing sauces, Classic Monte Cristo made here to name a few, and great daily specials for our regulars ( and boy do we have regulars). Friends Jefferson is out of the way for us, but we make it a point to keep returning. They’re the only restaurant south of the Mason-Dixon that can make a proper Philly cheesesteak. Their smoked wings come out hot and with the right amount of crispiness each time.

Nearly everything about this place was superior except for the prices. A burger and fries were $15, drink not included. I figured if I was paying that much for a burger anyway, I would upgrade to the bison burger for $2 more. Our friendly, efficient and attentive server brought out our orders quickly and then I sunk my teeth into perhaps the most delicious hamburger I have ever tasted in my life. Maybe “you get what you pay for” applies here?

I’ve been here 3 different times. The 2 visits for lunch were excellent. Tonight sitting at the bar had one rude lady and one of the sweetest I’ve seen in there. I always get the Philly and it never disappointed! I highly recommend.

The smoked wings with their house sauce was out of this world good! It was hard to stop eating them, although I ordered ten I definitely felt I could eat way more. The only bad thing about this location was that they have no fans, it got up to 89 degrees inside, but staff and food were 10/10

Big fan of the Friends chain. Almost always a good experience. The Jefferson location is the most convenient for me, but it has two distractors. First, parking isn’t very convenient. You have to park in the back and walk halfway around the building to get in. Second, they’ve always struggled with keeping the place cool. Entirely too hot for me in the summertime. Place has really high ceilings, and I don’t think it’s very well insulated.

They’re on line ordering doesn’t work properly. When you Oder something without onions due to the fact that you are allergic to onions, you expect onions. I ordered a Santa Fe chicken salad without onions and made a note no onions and I guess the cook thinks they are funny and add extra onions. On the receipt they don’t have it printed on it. You need to fix that problem. I’m glad I looked before I ate it. You need to fix that before you have a law suit, soon. I am out $20 and not my life of a bad reaction. Not an offer to refund, just a sorry.
